An 18-year-old girl was sent to the hospital Saturday following an injury caused by an accident involving a deer.

The girl was driving her 1997 Pontiac Sunfire in the left-hand lane of I-35 at 11:30 pm on Saturday when the accident occurred. A man driving a 1994 Honda Accord was driving on the right-hand side of the road when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer. The Accord plowed into the front of the Sunfire, sending both cars pinwheeling into a median strip. The girl was sent to the hospital to be treated. The man was uninjured.

Deer accidents are especially common in Wisconsin in the late autumn and early winter months. If you or someone you love has been involved in an auto accident, contact the Milwaukee car accident attorneys of Habush, Habush & Rottier, S.C., by calling 800-242-2874.
