I-43 Wreck Kills Woman, Injures Man

A 76-year-old was killed in a car accident on I-43 after the car she was riding in crashed.

A 75-year-old man was driving a Toyota Camry north on the interstate when the car traveled down an off ramp and collided with a light pole before crashing into a wall. The driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.

Firefighter injured in hit-and-run accident

A man was recently charged with reckless endangering after injuring a firefighter in a hit-and-run accident.

The firefighter was assisting a car accident in Milwaukee when a 37-year-old man drove around stopped cars and under the intersection. The firefighter signaled him to stop when the 37-year-old allegedly sped up into the firefighter. The firefighter’s knee and wrist were injured.

Man Gets 8 Years for Drunk Driving Accident

A man was sentenced to eight years for a drunk driving accident that killed one pedestrian in Milwaukee.

The man hit a 16-year-old and his 17-year-old-old friend. He drove with the 16-year-old on the hood of his car for three blocks before stopping the car. The 17-year-old suffered two broken bones. The 16-year-old suffered massive brain injuries and died. Experts estimate that the man’s blood alcohol level was 0.18 when the accident occurred.

Crash on 1-43 Injures Four

On Sunday, a car crash injured four people on Highway 43 around 6 p.m.

The police said that accident occurred when a 21-year-old driver try to merge onto Highway 43. The car made a abrupt left turn and collided with another car. A passenger in the 21-year-old’s car was ejected from the car and suffered serious injury. The other driver and passenger in her car were also treated for injuries.
