Theresa B. Laughlin
Theresa Laughlin has worked as an advocate for injured people since graduating with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1995. For almost 20 years her practice has focused on claims involving motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, and other personal injuries. Her representation of plaintiffs in trial courts across Wisconsin earned her certification as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. She is one of only five women in Wisconsin currently carry this distinction. Theresa is active in the Wisconsin Association for Justice, currently serving on its Board of Directors and frequently speaking at seminars.
Theresa grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin. She volunteers for The Women’s Community as a court observer, using her legal experience to assist victims of domestic violence. She is also active with The Habush Charitable Foundation, volunteering as a trained fitter; making sure all children attending an event have safe and proper bicycle helmets.
Theresa is an avid, albeit beginning, skier who will often visit Granite Peak for a couple runs over her lunch break. She enjoys gardening, reading, travel, and the many recreational opportunities available on the lakes of Wisconsin’s Northwoods. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Theresa is a shareholder with the firm and practices in the Wausau, Stevens Point and Rhinelander offices.
