Teenager killed from injuries sustained in crash

A 19-year-old was killed from injuries sustained in a an accident involving a bus.

According to officials, the accident occurred right after the bus began its route and attempted to make a left turn on Highway  51/60. The man then rear-ended the bus, but the airbag did not deploy because the front bumper sensor was not touched.

Two students and the bus driver were unharmed, but the car’s driver was airlifted to the University of Wisconsin Hospital of Madison where he was later pronounced dead.

Our deepest condolences are with the friends and family of the victim in the accident.
