Head on collision injures three on Wisconsin 57

A two-car collision injured three people in Brussels Town at noon, Saturday the 9th.

19-year-old Sierra Marie Kinnard from Brussels had stopped at a yield sign before turning onto the eastbound lanes. At the same time, 65-year-old Warren T. Holmes and his passenger Melanie E. Kincaid, 52, both from Forest Park, Illinois,  was traveling east, causing Holmes to run into Kinnard head on and both vehicles to suffer extensive damage.

All three were immediately taken to a hospital.

Although Kinnard told the Door County Sheriff she didn’t see Holmes coming, she was given tickets for a seat belt violation, failure to yield the right of way, and having open intoxicants, which carries penalties of a fine and possible license suspension.

Reckless drivers like Kinnard all too often cause innocent drivers and passersby serious harm. If you’ve been injured by a reckless driver, call 800-242-2874 today to discuss your situation.
