Traffic was held up for over 90 minutes after a semi-truck accident on U.S. 30.
The accident occurred around 6 p.m. when a truck driver from Milwaukee was traveling on the roadway and was unable to stop when traffic was stopped in a construction zone. The driver said that he tried to go around the traffic but was not able to and ended up rear-ending another semi-truck.
The police cited the driver of the semi-truck for being at fault in the accident, but luckily there were no life-threatening injuries sustained by either driver.
