A head-on collision between an SUV and a car injured three adults and one infant.

Both drivers and a front seat passenger had to be extricated from their vehicles by firefighters. Two other vehicles were involved in the accident but there were no serious injuries. Officials say the the SUV was driving in a southbound lane when the driver swerved into a northbound lane. The SUV sideswiped a car in a northbound lane before hitting another car head-on. The car following behind the accident, tried to stop but also hit the car. An infant suffered forehead lacerations and the drivers of both vehicles in the head-on collision were transported to the hospital.
