Motorcycle deaths spike in Wisconsin

Just as national statistics for motorcycle deaths have decreased, Wisconsin has seen a spike in the number of deaths in motorcycle accidents this month.

Sixteen motorcycle drivers or passengers have been killed this year, 13 of them were killed this month. A highway safety strategist said that the average number is around eight in the month of April. He also stated that his reasoning for the spike of deaths this month is the warm spring weather.

Last year, there was also a high number of deaths in the early part of the year, but the total number of deaths that year was the lowest level in five years.
