Pedestrian struck and killed in Milwaukee accident

A 44-year-old woman was struck and killed in pedestrian accident in Milwaukee on Sept. 5.

Police officials are continuing to investigate because the driver of the vehicle drove off after he or she struck the woman. It is known that the accident occurred at 9:30 p.m. on the 3100 block of W. Townsend St.

The vehicle that struck the pedestrian is thought to be a dark-colored Nissan or Toyota with possible damage on the driver’s side. Police are asking any witnesses to come forward with more information on the accident.
