Officials push for pedestrian access to Hoan Bridge

The City Development Commissioner spoke at a city planning meeting in order to propose that there be pedestrian access to Hoan Bridge.

The idea for pedestrian and bicycle access to the bridge has been proposed since the bridge was built and has been denied by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation each time.

The commissioner compared the bridge to other landmark bridges such as the Golden Gate Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge because they both use pedestrian access as a tourist attraction.

Not only is pedestrian and bicycle access a benefit for tourists, it is also a safe choice. If you have been injured after being involved in a pedestrian accident, you need experienced representation on your side.
