Sun Prairie man charged with 6th drunk driving offense

A Sun Prairie man has been arrested for his 6th OWI charge after he was pulled over on Wisconsin 26 for driving suspiciously.

According to reports, deputies saw the man stop at a “stop ahead” sign instead of at an actual stop sign. The man then attempted to turn left at an intersection on Wisconsin 26 where you could only turn right. Once police pulled the man over they conducted a field sobriety test.

After showing signs of impairment, he was arrested and taken into Dodge County Detention Center. His blood alcohol content was then tested and was found to be a .199. This is ten times the legal limit of .02 that is allowed for a person with five previous drunk driving charges.
