Truck driver killed in early morning semi-truck accident

The driver of a semi-truck was killed after a fiery semi-truck crash on Interstate 94 that occurred on Monday morning.

According to police, the accident occurred just after 5:30 a.m. when the semi-truck crossed the center line of the roadway and struck the Wisconsin 65 bridge before coming to a stop on the westbound lanes.

The trailer was carrying 7,500 gallons of fuel at the time and engulfed into flames as a result of the crash. The driver, whose name has not yet been released, was killed after the truck caught fire.
