Bond handed out by judge after high-speed chase

A $500 signature bond was set by a judge after a 20-year-old woman was arrested for a high-speed chase and drunken driving.

According to police, the incident began when the woman was pulled over on the side of the road for unknown reasons. When police attempted to help the woman, she fled from police.

After a 12-mile chase that reached speeds over 100 mph, the woman was stopped by police and given a breathalyzer test. The 20-year-old woman had a blood-alcohol level of 0.244. She was arrested for felony charges for fleeing police and a first citation of operating while intoxicated.
