General Motors to recall 293,000 sedans with brake problem

Automaker General Motors recently issued a recall of 293,000 Chevrolet Cruzes that are affected by a brake defect, a report from The Los Angeles Times stated on Friday, August 16.

In the recall, 2011 and 2012 models of Chevrolet Cruze compact sedans with modified engine-transmissions may experience occasional brake assist loss. This may cause drivers to exert more effort in stepping on the brake pedal when stopping the car. As a result of this defect, there have been several car accidents that are likely associated with the problem. No injuries have yet been reported.

Being injured by a defective vehicle can cause devastating consequences for innocent victims. If you have been affected by such an accident in Milwaukee, call the lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® at 800-242-2874 to discuss your legal options for holding the manufacturer accountable.
