Lamar Odom arrested for DUI

Veteran NBA player Lamar Odom was arrested for driving under the influence on a California freeway on Friday, August 30.

Lamar, 33, who played for the Los Angeles Clippers, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol before 4 a.m. after he was seen driving in a “serpentine manner” on the 101 Freeway. The basketball player was arrested and booked in Van Nuys after showing signs of intoxication and failing to pass a sobriety test given to him.

Odom’s driver license will be suspended for a year after he reportedly refused to undergo chemical testing at the station. Odom was released just hours later after his arrest, jail records show.

Although no one was hurt in this incident, driving under the influence is one of the major causes of auto accidents, injuring thousands of people every year. If you’ve been harmed by a drunk driver in Milwaukee, talk with a lawyer from Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® by calling 800-242-2874.
