Radio sportscaster involved in car accident

On Wednesday, November 13, radio sportscaster Steve “The Homer” True was in critical condition after a car accident.

According to reports, the accident happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Hampton and Fond du Lac avenues. Steve was driving east on Hampton when another vehicle, that was supposed to stop, crashed into his vehicle.

Steve was rushed to the Froedtert Hospital. The 44-year-old driver of the other vehicle was also treated for injuries at the hospital, but was later arrested for being impaired at the time of the accident.

True’s wife Nancy reported that his condition was improving.
